The Bright Future at Red & White
IT HAS CONTINUED UNINTERRUPTEDLY SINCE 1957
The Bright Future at Red & White
Jesse Dutcher and family continue the traditions of the Chenango Bridge Red & White Grocery, Deli, Catering and Guiseppe’s Pizza. Many of the same staff from Gary and JoAnne’s days are still here. We use the same recipes and ingredients our customers are accustomed to but Jesse adds a personal touch to everything we do. Stop by for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Red & White Finds it’s Successor
Gary passed away in the spring of 2016. JoAnne hand picked Jesse Dutcher as successor. Jesse graduated from the Paul Smith Culinary Institute just as Gary had many years earlier. Jesse has over twenty years of kitchen and food management experience. He held positions of Head Chef and General Manager of The McKinley.
Red & White Catering Begins
The local demand for their store-made food and Italian specialties from Guiseppe’s made it a logical choice to open Red & White Catering in 2004.
New Ownership and Opening of Guiseppe’s Pizza
Gary Klenovic took over the family business in the 1970’s and his wife JoAnne joined him in 1979 and they opened Guiseppe’s Pizza in the basement of the building.
Red & White Grand Opening
John and Mary Klenovic opened the doors to the Chenango Bridge Red & White Grocery in the spring of 1957. The construction of the brand new Chenango Valley High School was nearly complete. The Chenango Commons Golf Course was a football field and a little league diamond situated on the banks of the Chenango River.
